Give STL Day is May 6th

Help us Bring Back the Festival!

"In 1993, I got a tiny cedar sapling at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival and planted it in my parentโ€™s backyard. Today, I can look at the tree and measure the impact the Festival has had on my life โ€“ and the lives of thousands of others who deepen their green commitments on a yearly basis. How has it impacted your life?"

Help us on Give STL Day to Bring the Festival Back!

Wrapping Up Earth Month

"Earth Day cannot be contained to one day in April. Although we were not able to have our live Festival again this year, this past month we engaged with over 25 partner organizations to create multiple opportunities for over 1,300 community members to personally take action."

May Eco-Media Club

Our May Eco-Media Club will be Wednesday, May 12th at 6pm. We will be discussing Community and Communication: how trees are a template for successful social organization. Using the information from several resources, Bob Henkel, earthday365 Program Director, will moderate a discussion on how science provides us insights into how nature has developed cooperative strategies for surviving and thriving; and how we can do the same. View the documentary Intelligent Trees on your own (Vimeo, Amazon Prime, or Tubi), read The Hidden Life of Trees, other articles, or watch related videos all listed on our Eco-Media Club page.
