St. Louis Earth Day Festival - 2024

Last Chance for Vendors!

Last call for vendors/exhibitors to register! Registration closes on March 15th.

Over 170 vendors have committed to joining us so far - check out if your favorite sustainable business/organization is on the list!

Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers make the Festival possible! If you would like to help with the event, please sign up below. You'll be treated to a meal during your shift, a free volunteer t-shirt (if you register by March 18th), and a volunteer party in May!

Sponsor Us!

We are also still looking for sponsors who would like to support the St Louis Earth Day Festival. Please see below for more info!

3rd Annual Sustainability Awards

Don’t let the incredible efforts of local leaders in climate action go unnoticed - nominate someone for our Sustainability Awards by March 31st! Our categories are:

  • Hellbender Award
  • Keystone Community Activist ($500 award)
  • Food For Thought (Green Dining Alliance Excellence - free recertification award)
  • Circularity in Business
  • Emerging Environmental Leader ($500 award)

Vote for the Festival!

We need YOUR votes to earn our first-ever nomination in St. Louis Magazine's annual A-List awards as the Best Festival in St. Louis!
The exposure would immensely help us spread awareness about our educational (AND fun!) yearly event where 86% of attendees report learning something new about sustainability and 95% of the waste is diverted from the landfill.
You can nominate every day until March 12th, so go, go, go!!! It only takes a few seconds to vote!

Sponsor Spotlight: Ripple Glass

Thank you so much to Ripple Glass for becoming a Zero Waste & Community Level Sponsor for our 2024 Festival!
Founded in 2009, Ripple Glass sought to become the answer to Kansas City’s glass recycling problem. Since then, it has placed over 100 free purple bins across the region to make glass recycling convenient and accessible for residents.
Ripple Glass is thrilled to announce that it has expanded its successful collection network into St. Louis, and drop-off sites are quickly being established throughout the metro area! When their purple bins are full, they are picked up and the glass is processed locally at their downtown facility before being sent to Pevely, MO where new bottles are manufactured from the recycled material.
Since 2009, Ripple Glass has recycled over 500,000 tons (1 billion pounds) of glass! Find a purple bin near you at the link below.

Thank you all of our sponsors, including:

Employment Opportunities

Join our team! We have several opportunities open, including our brand new Environmental Justice Outreach Coordinator position!

  • Green Dining Alliance Program Manager: Responsible for building and supporting the program’s presence within the St. Louis community and increasing the recognition of the Green Dining Alliance (GDA) as the primary regional third-party certifier of restaurant sustainability.
  • Environmental Justice Outreach Coordinator: As part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Americorps VISTA assignment, you will assist our Green Dining Alliance and Environmental Justice Days of Action programs by collaborating with economically disadvantaged communities and connecting them with resources focused on illegal dumping, food insecurity, and plastic pollution within watersheds.
  • Recycling On the Go Ambassador: Are you the recycling/composting advocate among your peers? Well, now you can get PAID to do that! Become one of our awesome Recycling Ambassadors, who are responsible for education about recycling and waste diversion as well as sorting waste at fun outdoor events.
