This is why we partner with local organizations at the heart of these areas to host Environmental Justice Days of Action. The needs of communities most impacted by climate change and environmental injustice are systemically neglected, and itβs up to us to show up, support, and take action. Please join us for our next 2 Days of Action; together weβll show that No Neighborhood is Disposable! 1) Illegal dumping clean-up π

We were overwhelmed by the amount of support seen from our community. 254 amazing people volunteered to help with the event, over a 50% increase from last year! This is incredible! Thank you so much to everyone who came together to make it a smooth and magical weekend. Another big win is that we achieved a 96% waste diversion rate. That means 96% of all Festival waste was either composted or properly recycled, with 86% of it being composted! This is thanks to our many waste sorting station volunteers and staff, as well as the 196 amazing vendors who complied with our sustainability standards. Most importantlyβ¦86% of 20,500 people learned something new at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival. That means the conversations, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences truly resonated. Knowledge is the first step toward action, and weβre proud this event planted so many seeds of Climate Hope. Hereβs to an amazing Festival and to all the incredible people who made it possible β letβs keep the momentum going! | | | | | | | | | Recycling On the Go - May 2025 Recap | | | | What a great start to event season! Our waste diversion crew brought waste sorting stations to Twilight Thursdays at the MO History Museum, Girls On the Run 5K, WashU commencement (congratulations, students!), Bark in the Park (which reached a 95% diversion rate), and of course our UnDumpster Day β diverting over 9,051.5 bs of waste from the landfill. Weβre excited to keep greening events with you this summer! | | | | | | | Support Tornado Response Efforts | | | | Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the devastating tornado that tore through St. Louis, displacing families, damaging homes, and disrupting lives across entire neighborhoods. In the wake of this disaster, we urge you to support the vital relief efforts led by Action St. Louis and For The Culture STL. Their ongoing initiative, The People's Response Hub at the O'Fallon Park Rec Center, has been providing free meals, essential supplies, and resources every day, serving as a lifeline for thousands of families across the hardest-hit communities. Volunteers are needed from 10:30am-4:30pm today and tomorrow (June 5-6) - sign up below. You can also drop off item donations any time from 10:30am-4pm.
