A Letter From the Executive Director

It has been a wild time to join earthday365, in a time of tremendous uncertainty where our situation changes day by day. Part of why I chose to join the organization is because of the role that the St. Louis Earth Day Festival has played in my life to connect me with a community of like-minded people, ever since volunteering for the Festival as a teenager. It was a place where I could explore my budding environmental consciousness and find resources to answer my questions. Despite all of the ways our lives have radically changed in the past few weeks, earthday365’s mission to bring together the environmental community in celebration and connect you to the resources to live your best life, is as true as ever.

We are very proud to announce that we have rescheduled the St. Louis Earth Day Festival to Sunday, October 18th in Tower Grove Park, so please mark your calendars! I am especially excited about the ways we plan to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day through a Virtual Festival during the week of April 18-26. During a time when we are all stuck in isolation, this is an opportunity to come together in celebration through live, interactive programming with a huge concentration of environmental content, all in one place. Our St. Louis Earth Day Festival is postponed to later this year, on Sunday, October 18th. In the meantime, please join us April 18-26th at earthday-365.org, as we bring our well-known St. Louis Earth Day Festival online -- Virtual Earth Day Festival!

Local vendors will be highlighted online within our themed-experience areas such as: Arts & Crafts, Down on the Farm, Energy & Green Building, Home & Family, Nature & Wildlife, Pets, Social Sustainability, Transportation & Alternative Fuels, Wellness & Spirituality, Youth Corner, etc.
