Environmental Justice Days of Action 2022

Empire13, the City of East St. Louis, and earthday365 present: Disaster Sites Action Initiative. Join us for this next Environmental Justice Day of Action on Saturday, August 6th, 9:30 am-12 pm. We'll meet at 83rd and Washington St. in East St. Louis, IL for this illegal dumping and litter clean-up. Looking forward to seeing you there! Volunteers will receive a tasty treat!

Environmental Justice Days of Action Details

Air Quality Bridge Rally

Join Metropolitan Congregations United, United Congregations of Metro East, and Sierra Club Illinois for the 2nd annual Air Quality Bridge Rally! On Saturday, July 23rd, environmental advocates across the St. Louis region will rally at the base of the McKinley Bridge to fight for cleaner air on both sides of the Mississippi River.

The rally marks the second year that environmental, public health, and community advocates have banded together to educate local residents about air quality issues and build local power to ensure progress is made to curb pollution and promote environmental justice. Register to attend the rally on Saturday, July 23rd at 9am!
